Why Do You Need a Website?
A presence on the internet is essential for any business, especially a small business and is the most inexpensive and efficient means of advertising.  When all other forms of advertising are considered: TV, radio, yellow pages, newspapers or billboards---you can't do better than your own website.  Not only can you reach far more people (It is, after all, a worldwide presence!), you can present your message vividly, and you can easily and effectively change that message at a moment's notice.  If your hours of operation or menu changes or you have a special offer to make to your customers or clients, you can post those changes in a matter of seconds.  Try that with any other advertising medium!  And the cost is almost nothing: for pennies a day you can have a website that will say exactly what you want it to say about your business.

If your business doesn't have a website, not only are you dropping the ball and missing out on the best way to get new customers, you're not doing right by your old ones and you're really disappointing them.  They want to be able to get on the internet and find you.  If they can't find you because you don't have a website, they'll certainly be able to get on the internet to find  one of your competitors who does.
